Well!

I got home on Friday to find my Amazon package there. Hurray! Am now listening to Rob Dougan, thus far it seems to be everything random LJ stalker black_faery said. Darkly uplifting, indeed. I didn't have time to listen to much of it then, of course (just enough to recognise Will You Follow Me? as the music from the recent Sky Movies adverts), since I had to shoot off to the Song of Steel weekend.

There I had a whole lot of fun, monstering and playing - and finally realised Isaac (my character) is actually quite capable and not nearly the charming-yet-useless rogue that he usually makes out. He's certainly been keeping that one under his spotted handkerchief, I can tell you...

Hah. Rob Dougan has reached his Drinking Song. Sounds drunk. Cool.

Got wulfboy's picture done and scanned. Here. Also available: Special supertastic thumbnail edition, just the right size for LJ user icons. Naturally if I see anyone else using it I will be most annoyed and disappointed, I had come to think better of you, tsk tsk.

bacony has given the book a quick once-over and crapsule review. I curse myself for not remembering the exact phrase she used, but it was something along the lines of "all the most incredible poo." As in, take the most incredible poo you can think of, all of it, and put it in one place. Buy buy buy!
