Just checked page 213 of the 3.5 GM's guide. Magical ornaments and clothing does resize to fit. This strikes me as a dumb rule, as it means a pair of gloves designed for a human will fit a halfling and a giant. Mad. It also means that thoughtful mages have enchanted all magical items of clothing and apparall with variations of the Shrink Object and Enlarge Object spells, which activate automatically, without command. Of course, it doesn't apply to weapons. Obviously. Part of being a non-standard size is that you're automatically penalised for general kit buying and using, unless it's magical, in which case that would be unfair.
But, on the other hand, it's a rule, and it does simplify play and kit spreading, so i'll allow it.
Dumb Rules, oh, wait, we're playing D&D. Carry on.
