As Alex says, most of Random Encounters is intended to be elitest and cliquey. The Director's Commentary on the website should clear a few things up, but it's hard to tell what's clear and what isn't sometimes, being somebody on the inside...

I have the occasional dalliance with longer strips as evidenced in the gallery, but my problem is that I can't be bothered working up a script for the whole story at once. I'll write and draw a page, then a couple more, then get bored and do something else and never go back to it. I'm quite fond of this two page strip - my attempt at a fight scene - but it goes nowhere and does nothing. I don't know where they are or what they're doing, or even who the goatee character is to any real degree. What I really need is a script, and somebody to tie me down and make me draw. And, you know, to be independently wealthy.
