Thanks to catching a brief excerpt drifting out of magpye's Mac during the D&D game on Saturday, I now have a piece of music from the opening of Serenity going through my head.

Strange spam

I'm getting a lot of weird spam today. It's like somebody has finally flipped and completely lost sight of why they're trying to dodge spam filters in the first place. The mails contain no attachments, no links, arrive as plain text^* and mention no products, emails or any other coherent content save a brief passage of randomly generated prose.

* Admittedly this may have something to do with stsquad's webmail client being clever and stripping out special characters, or something. It does usually offer the option of seeing the HTML or otherwise dodgy version, though, even if it's picked it up as spam.

Gratuitous Phonepaper Post

I decided it was time to update the picture on my phone from 9Doc to 10Doc^[1] and, since the selection of actual mobile wallpapers on the BBC site is woefully inadequate, I decided to make some of my own. Presented below for your amusement.

[1] The picture reverted to 9Doc soon after Phil and I broke up. Much though I enjoy looking at his smiling face, I figured it would probably be obsessive and creepy to leave it there.
