(no subject)

Am in Ilkley. Inexplicably, my PC here does not work: upon power up there is no communication whatsoever with the monitor, and the lights on the keyboard do dance. No noise is forthcoming from the box other than the rumble of the power supply. And this after Mum splashed out on a wireless router...

Off to job centre now. Signing on. Must contact Bacon about when she would like picking up at some point.

I do not consider a comment on somebody else's livejournal to be adequate notice that a lift across the country will not in fact be required.

Oh well, it's not like I drove for three hours from Ilkley to Manchester before finding this out or anything.

I am more cheered now some time has passed and I have drinken my cares away.  Ahh, not only Malibu but also Coke.  Huzzah!

I am also cheered by this, as it is exactly what I thought when I played through the Prince Of Persia: The Warrior Within demo this week.  Alright, not exactly.  my exact thought may have dwelt rather more on the male lead.  But still.
